Matt was born and raised in Vancouver, where he attended and graduated grade school. His early love of building and construction lead him to pursue an education in both Carpentry and Architectural Building Engineering & Technology through BCIT. After graduation, Matt worked hands on as a Carpenter, and Project Coordinator for both residential and commercial construction. Matt has over 20 years experience in construction, building and renovations.

Matt’s success in the construction industry lead to founding a local home inspection company, where his real estate passion began. Working with clients who were buying and selling homes intrigued Matt, and he knew he wanted to be more involved in the process. This lead Matt to complete his education at the UBC Sauder School of Business to become a Realtor.

Matt’s expertises in building and inspecting homes is a key asset whether you are buying or selling your home. When you work with Matt you can expect customer service that is second to none; Matt is passionate about real estate and it shows!

In his spare time, Matt enjoys being with his wife Tara and their two children in their home town of Port Coquitlam. You can often catch the Wilkie family out in the community, enjoying hikes with their dog, or camping and kayaking.
