“Sports have been in my blood from an early age”.Growing up in Russia, Elena became a trained professional athlete competing in various disciplines. She completed in the Russian National Decathlon and won national attention by placing 4th in the country. Although her sports training expands several disciplines she competed competitively in track and field, basketball, cross-country skiing, tennis, and swimming, winning several national titles.
Elena expanded into other sports-related areas combining her professional sports knowledge and English skills to work with the NHL as a Russian translator. She took on coaching responsibilities for several different disciplines and studied sports medicine.
