I purchased my first home in 1997. It was a 1920s fixer-upper and I spent the next few years learning the ins and outs of electrical, plumbing, structure and more while bringing new life to the old classic. I began to love everything real estate – the purchase, the ownership, the renovations and all that comes with it. Becoming a full time REALTOR ®  was a natural next step.

After more than twenty years in the business, I still love the feeling of accomplishment I get whether it is finding the right home for a first time Buyer or working with a seasoned Seller to get their home sold. My approach is to provide information and educate my clients in order to help them make informed decisions. I never use high-pressure tactics and always leave the final decision up to you. I am a skilled negotiator and view myself as an advocate ensuring that my client’s best interests are well protected.

Barb, my patient wife of twenty years, is a professional musician while our son is in his third year of university and our daughter is in high school. Our house is rounded out by a few fish, the Minions (three Guinea pigs) and Roy the dog. I value transparency, honesty and morality.

Community is important to me and I have volunteered with numerous groups and agencies throughout the years. I am currently serving as the President of the Civic Orchestra of Victoria. I value buying local which is one of the reasons I chose to work with Sutton Group which was founded right here in BC over 40 years ago. Although Sutton has grown to over 200 offices Canada wide, Sutton Group West Coast Realty remains a major West Coast brokerage but with a local focus.

I take my business very personally and make every effort to ensure that I give every one of my clients the best service possible. If you’re not happy, I’m not happy. It really is that simple.
